Lowe's Birthday Party

We went to Lowe's birthday party today. Parker had a blast! He kept saying"Party Day" all day long.

Trick or Treat

I think Parker is telling us what a lion says in the first picture! He loves to "ROAR" . The little boy in the other picture is Carter, one of our neighbors. He had the cutest pirate costume.

Elmo

There were 17 of us in our group, but I was only able to get a few pictures. Here are ones of Parker, Lowe and Taylor at Elmo Makes Music at the coliseum.

I had pictures made of Parker at Reunion with Jeanelle Caraway. So when we got home I tried to get a few snapshots myself. Parker was not very cooperative! Jeanelle takes great pictures....here is our web address if you are interested in seeing some of her photos: http://www.jcarawayphotography.com/

Fun at School

Parker's 1st Day of School

I started working part-time, so Parker is going to morning only 2 year old school at Building Blocks. The first picture is of him the night before school, the 2nd of him the first morning of school after I woke him up (he is not happy!) and the last one is of him in his classroom. We got there really early the first day so we were the only ones in the room!

Natural Science Museum

Parker and I went to the Natural Science Museum today. He had a BLAST! He loves fish and was so excited. All he would say is fish, fish, fish, fish, fish!!! Over and Over again.

Lisa and Brad's Engagement Party

Several couples and individuals hosted an engagement party for Lisa (one of my oldest friends from Winona) and Brad (one of my buddies from MSU). I saw so many of my old school and college friends there. It was very nice and I enjoyed hanging out with everyone. Lisa and Brad are getting married in Starkville On Dec. 20th in the Chapel. This is very suiting for them since they are the biggest MSU fans that I know! I wish them the best!!

Taylor's Birthday Party

We headed up to Grenada Saturday for Taylor's 4th Birthday Party. He had a Go Diego themed party. The cake was wonderful. A lady in Charleston made it and it was one of the best that I have seen. (I will try to find out her name for anyone around the area who is interested.)
I did not get many pictures b/c I found out Jill had hired a guy to take pictures so I put my camera up and just enjoyed watching Parker play! (They guy who did the pictures is very reasonable... here is his website www.dmcphotoweb.com for anyone interested.)

Party in Winona

Parker had another great Birthday Party today with my family in Winona. We took the "scary" Mickey balloon for the other kids to play with. I got a few pictures of Taylor posing with it. Before opening presents Parker, Taylor, and Campbell played outside with Parker's new toy wheel barrel. They had a great time filling it with sticks and rocks.
Parker got so many fun presents. We really need a bigger house now just to have room for all the new toys!
I had to get a picture of Parker in his car seat after the party. He was so tired that he fell asleep before we got to the interstate to come back home!

Parker is TWO!!!

I can't believe that my baby is two years old today. We had a Rushing Family Birthday at our house this afternoon. Nina, Pop, Mark, Kassi, Brian and Paige all came over for a late lunch, cake and ice cream. It was a lot of fun!! I am so tired now though (and so is Parker - no nap!). I made my first character cake for the party, Mickey Mouse no less! Parker loves Mickey, so I got him a life size Mickey balloon so it would be like Mickey was at the party. He is scared to death of it!! Mickey is having to stay in the laundry room for now!!
Now I am about to make another Mickey cake for his party in Winona on Sunday! Yea!

Beethoven, Mozart, and RUSHING!

My father-in-law sent me tons of pictures of Parker the other day and I thought these were too cute. I think these were taken around Christmas time. Maybe I will have a child prodigy on my hands!!!!

Destin Vacation

We went to Destin with Craig's parents, Brian & Paige, and Mark & Kassi. Parker loved the sand this time, but he was still a little scared of the ocean. The best thing about the trip was Parker really started talking. He started saying words like giraffe, elephant, bird, hot......it amazes me how overnight he has a whole new vocabulary!!

Doggy Door

Our neighbors, Misty and Chris, have two dachshunds and a doggy door for them to go in and out. Parker discovered that he can fit perfectly through it. He spent an hour going in and out of it. He thought he was something else being able to go outside when he wanted to.

Orange Beach

We spent Memorial Day Weekend at Orange Beach for Uncle Mark and Aunt Kassi's wedding. Unfortunately I did not get hardly any photos. This one is us at the rehearsal dinner before it started.

Dirt looks so tasty!

Mud Bath

Parker loves to get dirty, so after a huge rain we let him play in a huge puddle. He LOVED IT!
